The moment she let go

She watched the world around her

Some laughed

Others Cried

Some smiled

Others frowned

Some drank

Some smoked

Some bitched

Some loved

She tried it all, and realized

That all the madness ensuing around her

Was from the fact

That people were holding on

Instead of letting go

Wholly and Completely,

As a cool breeze blew

And the stars shone bright

She let go…

Without seeking an opinion

Or making any promises

Without any hesitation

Or any worry

Without any struggle

Or any effort

Without any analysis

Or a five year plan

She let go…

She let go of her fears,

Threw away her grudges,

And buried the past,

She let go of her judgements ,

Removed  all prejudice

And enjoyed the moment while it lasted

She laughed as she realized

That nothing was good

Nothing was bad

No one was good

No one was bad

Everything was just what it was

It is and will always be just that

      • Oh stop. Please don’t put yourself down. This world does that enough as it is. Here at Petals I will LIFT YOU UP. Oh, wait, we are on your blog. (giggle) OK. Well, where I am I lift up and LOVE. BIG (((HUGS))) Amy

      • Ha ha ha 🙂 put myself down? No way !! I love myself too much to do that !! LOL 😀 ! What I meant was life’s too short to just keep holding on to the negative things and you know.. keep replaying them.. If only we could let go, it would be easier on us ! 🙂 Have a nice day ! And yeah.. lets drop by more !

      • SO glad to hear you LOVE yourself!! That is way cool to hear!! Way to go! Life IS too short to keep hanging onto the negatives, but yet, so many people do, now don’t they? So glad you have come into my life! [GRIN] Two “crazies” who know how to LOVE themselves and NOT caring what others think. Yep, this is good indeed!!! (((HUGS))) Amy (giggling)
